           Bolivia is governed by the Political Constitution of the State, which was established in 2009. Evo Morales had been then the president of Bolivia since he had been elected in 2005. The Bolivian state is divided into four branches: Executive, Judicial, Legislative, and Electoral. Bolivia’s amount of poverty and inequality will guarantee that the country will remain vulnerable to instability and corruption in the future.

          Morales is looking to be reelected as the president of Bolivia in 2019 which makes some people in the country uneasy. He pulls most of his support from the poor indigenous majority because he is indigenous himself. The middle class and inhabitants in the eastern provinces, where most wealth lies, worry that his policies are too radical.        Though rich in resources, Bolivia is one of the poorest countries and least developed countries in South America with 50 percent of its population being below the poverty line. Bolivia’s economy is based on agriculture, foresting, fishing, mining, and manufacturing goods. It has become dependent on its non-fuel materials to strengthen its economy. Bolivia’s economic freedom score is 46.8 making it the 163rd freest in the 2013 index. Bolivia is ranked 26th out of 29 countries in the South and Central American regions and its overall score is far below the world and regional averages.

        Mining is becoming a vital part of the Bolivian economy. It has known natural reserves, but due to lack of infrastructure and roads that travel across the country, this creates conflicts in trying to find markets to use the products both domestically and internationally.
